AND RECREATION IS EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THE START OF ITS COMMUNITY FREE PLAY PROGRAM.THE PROGRAM WILL KICK OFF ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 6TH.
THE NEW OFFERING IS A RESULT OF THE POSITIVE FEEDBACK THE DEPARTMENT RECEIVED OVER THE HOLIDAY BREAK WHEN IT OPENED TWO SYNTHETIC FIELDS AT CARPENTER PARK TO THE PUBLIC FOR OPEN PLAY.
TWO SYNTHETIC TURF FIELDS WILL BE OPEN FROM 40 8:00 PM ON MONDAYS AT RUSSELL CREEK PARK AND ON WEDNESDAYS AT CARPENTER PARK.
COMMUNITY FREE PLAY PROGRAM DAYS ARE OFFERED FOR INDIVIDUALS IN SMALL GROUPS TO RECREATE AND ENJOY THE SYNTHETIC TURF.
FIELDS IN PLANO, ORGANIZE GAMES OR PRACTICES ARE NOT ALLOWED.
STAFF WILL BE ON SITE TO ANSWER QUESTIONS, PROVIDE FIELD USE EDUCATION, AND SHARE INFORMATION ABOUT BOTH DROP-IN SPACES AND RESERVATION OPTIONS.
