COMMENTS OF PUBLIC INTEREST
CONSENT AGENDA
(1) Public Hearing on a proposal to increase total tax revenues from properties on the tax roll in the preceding tax year by 6.18 percent (percentage by which proposed tax rate exceeds lower of rollback tax rate or effective tax rate calculated under Chapter 26, Tax Code).
(2) Public Hearing on an application for the adoption of a Municipal Setting Designation Ordinance for the PSC Management LP – Plano Campus property, a 71.2 acre tract of land located at 2300 West Plano Parkway, as requested by Dell, Inc. (Tabled at 8/14/17 meeting.)
(3) Consideration of an Ordinance to prohibit the use of designated groundwater from beneath a 71.2 acre tract of land located at 2300 West Plano Parkway and supporting issuance of a Municipal Setting Designation by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality; providing a penalty clause, a savings clause, a severability clause, a publication clause, and providing an effective date. (4) Consideration of a Resolution to support the application of Dell, Inc. to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality for certification of a Municipal Setting Designation Ordinance on a 71.2 acre tract of land located at 2300 West Plano Parkway; and providing an effective date. (Tabled at 8/14/17 meeting.)
(5) Consideration to approve the purchase of 300 Vista HD Extended Capacity Body Worn Camera (BWC) kits, 100 additional mounting adapters, 40 ethernet transfer stations, and Evidence Library licenses for the Police Department from Enforcement Video, LLC dba WatchGuard Video in the amount of $329,070 through an existing BuyBoard contract; and authorizing the City Manager to execute all necessary documents. (6) Consideration to approve the terms and conditions of the First Amendment to Contract between City of Plano and Allied Waste Systems, Inc. d/b/a Allied Waste Services of Plano for Residential Recycling Processing Services; authorizing its execution by the City Manager; and providing an effective date.
(7) Consideration of an Ordinance to repeal in its entirety Article IV, Right-of-Way Management Regulations, of Chapter 19, Streets and Sidewalks, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Plano, and replacing it with this new Article IV, Right-of-Way Management Regulations, to conform to new state legislation for small cell technology and adopt other minor changes, and providing penalty clauses, a repealer clause, a severability clause, a savings clause, a publication clause and an effective date.
(8) Public Hearing and consideration of an Ordinance as requested in Zoning Case 2017-016 to amend Section 15.200 (Communications Antennas, Amateur and Commercial) of Article 15 (Use-specific Regulations) of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City, Ordinance No. 2015-5-2, as heretofore amended, pertaining to standards for communications antennas and equipment; and providing a penalty clause, a repealer clause, a savings clause, a severability clause, a publication clause, and an effective date.
