Approval of Minutes
(1) Public Hearing and adoption of Resolution No. 2016-10-11(R) to approve the use or taking of a portion of City of Plano public Park Land, known as Hoblitzelle Park, pursuant to Chapter 26 of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Code, to approve using portions of dedicated Park Land as City of Plano permanent sanitary sewer easements and a temporary construction easement for the purpose of improvements to the Russell Creek Sanitary Sewer Interceptor located within the park; authorizing the City Manager to execute all necessary documents; and providing an effective date. (2) Public Hearing and adoption of Resolution No. 2016-10-12(R) to approve the use or taking of a portion of City of Plano public Park Land, known as Legacy Trail, pursuant to Chapter 26 of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Code to approve using a portion of dedicated Park Land as a City of Plano permanent sanitary sewer easement for the purpose of capacity improvements to the Legacy West Force Main located within the park; authorizing the City Manager to execute all necessary documents; and providing an effective date. (3) Public Hearing and adoption of Ordinance No. 2016-10-13 as requested in Zoning Case 2016-030 to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City, Ordinance No. 2015-5-2, as heretofore amended, granting Specific Use Permit No. 18 so as to allow for the additional use of Funeral Parlor on 1.9 acres of land located on the south side of Spring Creek Parkway, 210 feet west of Custer Road, in the City of Plano, Collin County, Texas, presently zoned General Office; directing a change accordingly in the official zoning map of the City; and providing a penalty clause, a repealer clause, a savings clause, a severability clause, a publication clause, and an effective date. (4) Public Hearing and adoption of Ordinance No. 2016-10-14 as requested in Zoning Case 2016-031 to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City, Ordinance No. 2015-5-2, as heretofore amended, so as to amend Planned Development-379-Retail/General Office on 8.6 acres of land located on the north side of Plano Parkway, 965 feet west of Alma Drive, in the City of Plano, Collin County, Texas, to allow veterinary clinic as a permitted use; directing a change accordingly in the official zoning map of the City; and providing a penalty clause, a repealer clause, a savings clause, a severability clause, a publication clause, and an effective date. (5) Public Hearing and adoption of Ordinance No. 2016-10-15 as requested in Zoning Case 2016-032 to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City, Ordinance No. 2015-5-2, as heretofore amended, granting Specific Use Permit No. 21 so as to allow for the additional use of Patio Home on 10.8 acres of land located at the southwest corner of Ohio Drive and Lorimar Drive, in the City of Plano, Collin County, Texas, presently zoned Retail; directing a change accordingly in the official zoning map of the City; and providing a penalty clause, a repealer clause, a savings clause, a severability clause, a publication clause, and an effective date. (6) Ordinance No. 2016-10-16: To determine the public use, need and necessity for the acquisition of fee interest in a 395 square feet tract of land and a temporary easement for a 207 square feet tract of land located in Lot 2, Block 1, Performance Addition near the northwest corner of Preston Road and President George Bush Turnpike as described in attached Exhibit “A,” in the City of Plano, Collin County, Texas; for the purpose of constructing, reconstructing and maintaining street and highway facilities and related public improvements in the City of Plano, Collin County, Texas; authorizing the City Manager and the City Attorney, or their respective designees, to acquire the property including making initial and bona fide offers, and authorizing the City Attorney to file proceedings in eminent domain to condemn the needed real property for public use, if necessary, and providing an effective date.
